They met in infancy, and now they themselves have become parents (6 photos)
Jack Richardson and Bronwyn Tacy were born prematurely at the Royal Medical Center in Nottingham, England, in 1994. It was there that their families met.
Richardson was born at 30 weeks, and Tacy at 26 weeks.
“Jack spent a year in intensive care, and after that he was in the hospital many times,” says Bronwyn. “The doctors didn’t know if we would survive. It’s just a miracle that we’re both here.”
“Until I was 16, I was injected with growth hormone so that I wouldn’t be so small,” she added.
As the children grew older, their parents continued to communicate. We always congratulated each other on holidays, sometimes we met. Jack and Bronwyn attended different schools, each with their own social circle.
In October 2021, Tayce published a new photo on social media.
“I had a new haircut and Jack texted me,” she recalls. Soon their first date took place.
In June 2023, the couple found out that they were expecting a child.
Richardson's mum Helen Pickering said she "couldn't believe it".
"It's just incredible. He's going to have a baby with someone he met in the hospital," Pickering, 53, says.
In February 2023, Bronwyn gave birth to her first child, a healthy daughter, Sienna, in the same hospital where she and Jack were born almost 30 years ago.
“We have a wonderful partnership. We are best friends and lovers. And that’s the best thing. We just understand each other, finish each other’s sentences. We know what each of us is thinking,” Tayce admitted.
