30 vintage portraits of very different people (31 photos)
Dear Fred Photo Archive is a free site that helps people literally see their family history. Currently, the archive contains data on 22,927 surnames, but it is interesting to leaf through it even for those to whom they say nothing. Whether it's a portrait of a Swedish postman in 1900 or a photograph of a French woman with a baguette half a century later, these images clearly demonstrate how a variety of people lived in the not-so-distant past.
