A realistic copy of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ supercar was built from parts from old cars (5 photos + 1 video)
The CB Media Youtube channel published a video story about a replica of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, built by craftsmen from Thailand. The supercar, which on the outside very faithfully reproduces the original, is in fact made from parts from a number of old cars, mainly from Japanese brands. Its creation took the small workshop Kit Racing from Bangkok several years.
The front of the chassis is taken from a Toyota Crown, the rear from a Honda Accord. Supplemented with a turbocharger, the VR4 engine and automatic transmission are borrowed from the Mitsubishi 3000 GT. The motor is installed in the rear, and in the video you can listen to how it sounds.
In addition, the craftsmen used Toyota Hilux suspension components, Isuzu D-Max steering system, and BMW brakes.
At the same time, Kit Racing manufactured almost all the external panels of the replica themselves, due to which such a serious external resemblance to Lamborghini was achieved. The only elements borrowed here are the doors from the Nissan NX2000, but they have also been modified and now open upwards. But the interior donor was the Honda Civic, and this is immediately noticeable. How much the project cost is not specified.
