Couple obsessed with body modification: 'People think we're from hell' (5 photos)

For ten years now, Victor and Gabriela Peralta have held the record for the most body modifications among couples. In total, they underwent 91 transformations: from tattoos to subdermal implants.





A couple from Argentina are proud to be included in the Guinness Book of Records.

Victor regularly appears in the media thanks to his shocking appearance, which includes spikes on his head, subcutaneous implants, piercings, pointed ears, a forked tongue, and many tattoos, including on his eyes.

More than 95% of his body is covered in ink. Peralta got his first tattoo (the word f**k) at the age of 13 on the fingers of his left hand. He's been obsessed with modifications ever since. The 52-year-old man admits that he wants to imitate the demon, and his wife supports him in this.



Gabriela, 52, married a tattoo artist 15 years ago. In 2014, they were included in the Guinness Book of Records, then they had 84 modifications. The couple recently updated their record.

“When our record was recognized, I felt amazing emotions and pride from being awarded for my life choices,” says Gabriela. “I have always been faithful to what I like, I valued my soul, which is inextricably linked with art. I was raised "My grandparents and I lived by art 24 hours a day. My grandfather was a musician and photographer, and my grandmother was an artist. I grew up surrounded by art."



Victor added: "My father loved to draw and I took that passion from him and later became a tattoo artist. Then came the modifications and one day Guinness found us and rewarded us for that passion. I'm so happy and proud to be with my wife received an award."



Victor, a native of Uruguay, has been running his own tattoo studio, Querubin, in Buenos Aires, Argentina for over 28 years.

“People react to us in different ways: surprise, curiosity and fear. We often hear praise for our courage and audacity, because we stand up to society, choosing a lifestyle that is so different from the usual, and do not experience any fears,” the couple share , who were nicknamed "Hells Angels".



“We have no prejudices, we just live the way we want. We are very happy, and if anyone asks questions about us or our way of life, we are always ready to talk or exchange opinions, but only with mutual respect.”
