“The most tattooed mother in the UK” was banned from attending church and has not been hired for 20 years (8 photos)
46-year-old Welsh resident Melissa Sloane, who has more than 800 tattoos on her face, spoke about the difficulties of her life. Due to her extraordinary appearance and dependence on the drawings on her body, the opinions of netizens about the British woman were divided.
Britain's most tattooed mum
Sloane herself calls herself “the most tattooed mother in the UK.”
Melissa became interested in tattoos about ten years ago. The Welsh resident is the mother of seven children, but five of them do not maintain contact with her because of her shocking image.
When Sloane decided to cover up her tattoos with makeup, her younger children called on their mother to immediately return everything to the way it was and refused to talk to her. The fact is that they never saw their mother without drawings, because they were born when Melissa had already changed her appearance.
However, Sloane's appearance caused many difficulties. The British woman has not worked for 20 years, because potential employers are not ready to consider such a candidate for the position.
Melissa even offers to clean toilets. The issue of work became especially acute when the woman learned about her 11-year-old daughter Otom’s illness, which could cause the girl to go blind in the future.
And recently Sloane was banned from church, in part, because of the crucifix on her face. Most of the woman's drawings were completed by her partner Luke, whose health is now at risk.
Melissa wanted to pray for him, but she was kicked out of the temple. A local priest personally asked Sloane to leave the premises, adding that she was singing “too loud.” "The church is supposed to open its doors to everyone, but they kicked me out. I was singing there with a bunch of people, it was crazy," she commented.
