Another accident involving a Tesla Cybertruck. This time the car held up perfectly (3 photos)
At one of the intersections in Tampa, Florida, an accident occurred that gave rise to discussion far beyond the borders of the States. An impact in the A-pillar area is considered one of the most dangerous on the road, but this is the case with ordinary cars, but what about the Tesla Cybertruck with a body made of angular stainless steel?
With the ram itself in the form of a Nissan Sentra, everything turned out to be predictable: the deformation zone fulfilled its task at the cost of the car itself, which now has only one way - to the insurance auction. While the Cybertruck, which received a blow from a one-and-a-half-ton sledgehammer into the cabin from the passenger side, looks cheerful, having made do with a dent on the door, superficial scratches and slight deformation of the outer panels. The plastic body kit, front suspension and tires were also damaged. It is possible that the impact also affected the internal structure of the body.
The interior of the Cybertruck remained inaccessible to hostile penetration. Of course, if, say, a Ford F-150 took the place of the Nissan Sentra, then the consequences could be somewhat different. As for the cost of restoring the Cybertruck, it is expected to be within reason.
