Royal Caribbean cruise ship worker turned out to be a pervert (4 photos)

Arvin Joseph Mirasol, 34, installed hidden cameras in the bathrooms of passengers on the Symphony of the Seas and also hid under their beds. Last Sunday he was arrested on charges of voyeurism and filming child pornography.





One of the young victims found a camera under the sink in the bathroom. The girl went on a cruise with her mother and sister on February 24. Two days later, she informed security about the discovery. During the inspection of the cabin, Mirasol appeared; the employees detained him before the ship docked at Port Everglades, Florida.



Authorities seized his electronic devices and found several videos of naked women, child porn and even a video of Mirasol installing a camera himself.

He admitted to investigators that he began spying on passengers in December.

“I want to control myself, but I can’t,” the voyeur complained.



The accused said that he installed cameras when attractive girls aged 16 and older stayed in the cabin.

Mirasol also hid under beds to film naked passengers.



“This behavior is unacceptable,” Royal Caribbean said in a statement. “We immediately notified law enforcement and terminated the crew member, and we will continue to cooperate with authorities.”

The court remanded Mirasol into custody without bail.
