A passerby saved a child who went for a dangerous walk (5 photos + 1 video)

A Rhode Island resident saw a small child on the porch canopy. The 2-year-old climbed out of the window of a house on South Main Street. 
According to police, the child's mother left the window open to ventilate the children's room. Fortunately, the baby was not injured.
"It's just crazy, what if this man wasn't around? We don't think this could happen, but it happens all the time," neighbor Michaela Carter told NBC 10.
An eyewitness shared footage of the rescue online. A man in a red robe climbed onto the visor in a matter of seconds and took the baby in his arms.
Michelle Higgins, who was nearby, said: “I kept thinking, 'Oh my God. The child is going to fall."
“I don’t know how the man climbed onto the visor. My son says he is Spider-Man. I consider him a hero. I wanted to go out and hug him,” the woman added.
The mother only realized it when the neighbor rang the doorbell.
The incident was reported to the Rhode Island Department of Children and Families. It is unknown whether the child's mother has been charged.
The woman declined to talk to NBC 10 about what happened.
