A raccoon snuck into a car to give birth to its offspring (4 photos)
Nobody wants someone to break into their car, but sometimes it's justified and sometimes it's even cute. This mother raccoon snuck into the dealership's car through the plastic window visor and sat in the back seat for one very cute reason - to give birth to her cubs in a calm environment.
When the car dealership employees discovered the break-in, they saw this picture inside

Two more babies were found in the trunk of the car. Initially, the mother and cubs were transferred to a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Manatee, Florida, and from there they were transported to the forest.
"Today I moved a mother raccoon out of a car at a dealership. She climbed inside through the plastic visor over the window and gave birth to her babies in the back seat and in the trunk. We located the mother and, with the help of two other employees, searched the vehicle for other babies.
Once they were inspected, I moved them to the woods where she could raise them," reads the caption on the shelter's page. Raccoon litters typically contain 3-5 babies, so it is likely that she was still pregnant at the time of transport.
