A boat janitor saved the life of a baby who fell into the river in a stroller

The moment a stroller with a 10-month-old baby plunged into the cold waters of a river in Tongxiang County (Jiaxing County, Zhejiang Province, China) was captured on a surveillance camera.

An employee of the cleaning company turned up at the scene and, using a garbage net, after several attempts, caught the child and pulled him out of the freezing water.

The rescuer handed the baby over to careless parents, who wrapped him in warm clothes.

Thanks to the timely rescue operation, the child did not receive injuries or hypothermia. The grateful family later visited the rescuer to express their heartfelt gratitude for his heroic actions.

The janitor told local media that helping those in need, be it an elderly person or a child, is a natural human instinct.
