In Ecuador, police tried to detain a man, but were confronted by a “samurai.” The armored stranger refused to give up and resisted.

A man in body armor, with a shield, a helmet and a Japanese sword - a katana - resisted law enforcement officers pointing guns at him in the parish of Vilcabamba, in the Loja region (Ecuador). A fragment of the confrontation was accidentally filmed by eyewitnesses.

Local media do not report anything about the causes of the conflict, but, preliminary, the “samurai” was still detained. Alive.
