One of the good things about dogs is that they trust us unconditionally. However, some people cannot boast that they live up to their trust.
The dachshund was eagerly awaiting a tasty treat from its owner, looking with admiration at what she thought was a tasty treat in her hands. But when the dog finally received the much-desired “yummy” treat, she immediately learned the bitter (in this case sour) taste of betrayal.
