New Delhi is perhaps the dirtiest and most toxic city in India. It is already almost impossible to live there, especially for visitors. India has come up with its own ways to fight for clean air. And... she pointed her guns at the city!





These are special anti-smog guns - a giant water pistol that purifies the air and knocks down heavy suspended matter from the air.

The Indian capital is covered most days of the year with a thick smog haze, in which it is sometimes difficult for birds to fly. In 2022, the city's air was recognized as the DILTIEST IN THE WORLD.

This used to happen in China, but they more or less dealt with the problem there. They no longer sell clean air in cylinders and gas masks.

India does not deny the problem. The government itself said that “Delhi is now worse than hell.” However, he is in no hurry to change anything. Instead of moving production, he is still coming up with more and more new ideas, for example, to limit the movement of diesel vehicles on the streets. All this helps only temporarily.

The principle of operation is simple: water finely sprayed in the air absorbs and nails harmful particles flying in the air to the ground. This not only helps improve visibility, but also reduces the strain on your lungs.

Water from such guns is sprayed through propellers under high pressure, so that the water particles are very small - 50-100 microns.

This is essentially “more efficient rain” because the raindrops are much larger. That’s why you need less spraying than rain to knock down all the smog.

Although the cannon shoots into the air to a height of 45 meters, it can spray up to 100 liters in a minute. In other countries, they are used to quickly knock down dust during the demolition of large buildings in the middle of the city.
