A 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo with almost no mileage was put up for auction (39 photos)
The Bring a Trailer auction will close in a couple of days for the 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe. The current bid is $381,111, which is almost twice the price of a new 911 Turbo. The fact is that the sports car has a meager mileage of 207 kilometers and has belonged to only one owner since its release.
The example up for sale is one of the last examples of Porsche sports cars equipped with air-cooled engines, which are especially valued by fans of the brand. The coupe is equipped with a 3.6-liter supercharged boxer engine that develops 408 hp. in combination with a six-speed manual transmission and limited slip differential.
The sports car's equipment includes 18-inch wheels, a power sunroof, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, as well as climate control and a 6-disc CD changer located in the trunk.
Despite the fact that the sports car was practically never used, it was repaired from time to time. For example, we had to repaint the front trunk lid and rear spoiler, replace one of the exhaust pipes, and even install new turbochargers. The reasons for such repairs are not reported.
