There were also plenty of other absurdities, so the leading actor Henry Cavill announced that he was leaving the project after the third season. And he kept his word, now the witcher Geralt will be played by Liam Hemsworth.

The fourth season of the saga will begin filming in the spring. Probably, the creators decided that the previous ratings would no longer be seen and they had nothing to lose, so they continued the powerful selection of actors. This time it went to a vampire character, one of Geralt’s main companions in the books. This is Emil Regis, in the original source he was pale and thin.
