A persistent traffic violator hits a pedestrian

On January 10, a 28-year-old driver in a BMW hit a 74-year-old woman who was crossing the road at a traffic light at a controlled pedestrian crossing. She was hospitalized. As explained by the State Traffic Inspectorate, over the past year the driver was brought to administrative responsibility more than 50 times for traffic violations, namely: exceeding the established speed limit, driving through a prohibitory traffic light, including a repeated one.
