The gas pedal of the Changan CS55 fell off - it was... plastic. 
A video has gone viral on social networks in which a woman is holding the gas pedal of her Chinese car in her hand. The part fell off when the outside temperature dropped below -25°C. In principle, this is a common thing in Russia, but the foreign machine bucked and instantly began to fall apart piece by piece.
Moreover, the owner of the crossover said that she simply adjusted the carpet in the cabin without making much effort.
Of course, it is known that plastic becomes brittle in the cold, but no one suspected that it was so fragile.
After this video, the brand new official Changan CS55 Plus was checked in the showroom - this car is now very popular among Russians: it also has a plastic gas pedal.
