A stray cat fell from the roof and was trapped (10 photos)
The predator found himself on the air conditioner and could not get down to the ground. The poor animal spent several days there.
Eventually, the residents of the house noticed the poor cat and called rescuers. A local animal rescue organization, Little Wanderers NYC, decided to help.
The rescue required ladders, gloves, lots of treats and patience.
The cat was named Mambo. He was hungry, exhausted and scared. He hissed and lunged at everyone. The shelter was afraid that with such a character it would be difficult to find him a home. But after just a few days of rehabilitation, Mambo became calmer and stopped attacking people.
Less than two weeks had passed since the former homeless child found a home and loving people.
