In one of the villages of the Priozersky district, a video surveillance camera recorded a visit from the largest wild cat in Europe - a lynx.
This is an adult female with grown kittens. Right behind her, trail after trail, are two cubs hurrying. But watch the video to the end: a little later a third kitten appears in the lens. So this lynx is a mother heroine.
“They only have a few months left to be with their mother. At the end of winter, the lynxes will begin the rut, and the kittens will have to start leading an independent life,” says Pavel Glazkov.
