A smuggler tried to smuggle cocaine under a wig (5 photos + 1 video)

Last Tuesday, a Ugandan smuggler was caught at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India. A woman hid 890 grams of cocaine worth more than a million dollars under her wig and in her bra. 
After receiving a tip-off, the Mumbai unit of DRI detained the passenger.
The video captures the moment airport security officers carefully cut a woman's wig and discover the hiding place.
DRI officials said they have extensive experience in exposing criminals. So, they found drugs in sanitary pads, in bottles of whiskey, in packaging of moisturizer.
The drugs were seized under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 and the woman is in custody.
This is not the first time that criminals have used false hair. Last year, two women sewed cocaine into wigs and tried to smuggle it into Colombia. The police found 900 grams of white powder under artificial hair, after which the detainee admitted that she hid another 200 grams in the genital area. Her accomplice also hid 600 grams under a wig and another 200 grams in her vagina.
