The first tuning kit has been developed for the Cybertruck (5 photos)
As soon as Tesla held the official presentation of the Cybertruck pickup truck, the tuners announced their readiness to modify the electric pickup truck. Unplugged Performance, a well-known company among fans of American electric vehicles, already offers a whole range of modifications for the Cybertruck, designed to make it more suitable for off-roading. This is the first set of modifications for the electric truck to be announced publicly.
The main design change proposed for the Cybertruck is a kit to increase ground clearance, the use of which will bring the ground clearance to almost 500 millimeters. The tuners expand the off-road functionality of the electric car due to a power body kit, including steel bumpers and door sills, underbody protection and 20-inch forged wheels. In addition, the pickup can be equipped with a carbon fiber front trunk lid and reinforced brake lines.
Accessories offered include auxiliary lights, sand trucks, roof rails, a retractable trunk organizer and a spare tire hanger that can be added to the rear bumper.
Some of the developments will go on sale before the end of this year, others - in the first quarter of next year. Some prices are also known. For example, a lift kit will cost $9,995, bumpers will cost $2,995 and $3,995, a hood will cost $1,995, and a set of wheels will cost $1,798. Judging by the photo, these are the wheels that Unplugged Performance announced earlier: their appearance was designed by designer Sasha Selipanov.
