Divers suddenly noticed the outline of a shark at the bottom of the lake - and thought they were about to be eaten. But it turned out to be a creepy shark statue that has been frightening divers at the bottom of Lake Neuchâtel in Switzerland for many years. It looks really creepy!
This statue is located at the bottom of Lake Neuchâtel in western Switzerland, and has been scaring local divers for many years. From a distance it may indeed seem that this is a real shark: the statue has huge teeth, a chilling grin, and an impressive size. Locals assume that someone threw the shark into the lake as a joke - but who knew that it would cause such a stir. After it was first found, hundreds of divers specifically go to that place to see the shark and “get scared.”
Recently, eagle-eyed netizens discovered that the shark statue was used as a prop during the filming of the 1975 French film Choc au Lac! The film was made by a group of 176 children from the city of Neuchâtel. It was dedicated to a giant shark that terrorized the inhabitants, but unfortunately, its filming was never completed.
According to expert users, the shark was sent to the bottom of the lake as a joke or prank. According to other versions, it was installed there as an unofficial tourist attraction, or to create excitement for an unfinished film.
