1. The idea for this film was born in the head of screenwriter Don Michael Paul almost by accident. One fine evening he went to a bar to wet his throat. At that very moment, he watched the scene of various equipment being taken out of the bar for debts to the bank.



Many regular customers were indignant at such chaos, since this bar was truly family to them. Someone even shouted that it would be a good idea to rob a bank to pay off debts. Fortunately, no one began to rob the bank. But Don Michael Paul had the idea to write a script for a film that would be based on approximately the same thing. Only this time the heroes will still participate in the robbery.





2. Initially, it was planned to take Bruce Willis for the role of Harley, who, by the way, was very good friends with Don Johnson, who played the role of Marlboro. But since Bruce had already signed a contract for as many as three films, he had to look for another actor for this role.



But when the script was shown to Mickey Rourke, he didn’t like it. But still, he agreed to star in this film, because he really needed money. And $2,750,000 is not lying around on the road.
