On the first day of winter 1996, police spotted a car on the side of the road in the small British town of Alvechurch. Near her, a blond girl, whose clothes were stained with blood, was wringing her hands in despair. 
And inside was Tracey Andrews' boyfriend, 25-year-old local resident Lee Harvey. With 37 stabs, the unfortunate man had no chance. The lovers lived together for a couple of years and planned their wedding. Now the plans were not destined to come true.

The disoriented girl said that on the way home they were chased by a black car. The car began to push them to the side of the road and they had to stop. The pursuer, who turned out to be a disgusting fat guy with an unhealthy gleam in his eyes, opened the door and literally cut Harvey to pieces. Then he hit the girl in the face, calmly got into the car and drove away.
Everything looked quite plausible, but a witness, a local resident who went out to smoke on the balcony that night, stated that the car with this couple was parked under her house. And the young people swore wildly.
And then the murder weapon was found. Tracy hid a folding knife, covered in blood, in the top of her boot, and then threw it into the toilet in the hospital bathroom where the victim was taken. 
And the staff of the bar, where the couple was relaxing shortly before the murder, also remembered the visitors very well. But not at the expense of generous tips - after a few glasses of alcohol, the blonde got wound up, began to hit her companion in the face, and in the end even grabbed her neck with her teeth. As neighbors testified, the man steadfastly endured repeated beatings from his chosen one.
The last straw was the conclusion of a criminologist - the blows were struck with the driver's door closed. That is, no one opened it, and the blows were made inside the interior. 
The jury unanimously did not believe the sexy blonde (for some time Tracy even had a successful modeling career). And in 1997, she received a natural sentence - life. But with the possibility of release on parole after 14 years.
It must be said that during her imprisonment the woman’s life was quite good: she was twice granted long leaves. Allowed to leave prison for expensive cosmetic surgery. 
After 14 years, the victim's parents pleaded to keep the killer of their only son in prison. But Tracy admitted to the murder at the hearing, arguing that it was self-defense. The woman was released. She, under the name Tia Carter, settled in a small town, works in a hairdresser, communicates with her daughter from her first marriage, who, during her mother’s imprisonment, managed to make her a grandmother twice.
Several years ago the criminal got married. He lives an ordinary life and probably has no remorse for what he did.
