In Thailand, a man caught a huge carp weighing 114 kg using a regular fishing rod

A UK resident visited Thailand and went fishing. He could not even imagine that he would catch a record-breaking huge fish!

A 36-year-old resident of the UK went on holiday to Thailand. One day, Calvin Marston decided to go fishing and went to the lake with an ordinary two-meter fishing rod.

Calvin felt he couldn't reel in his catch. He caught a huge carp on the hook, which was being pulled out by four men. They didn’t pull him out of the water completely; the men went into the lake to take pictures.

I was shocked. I didn't know it was a record. I even received a T-shirt as a gift from the owner of the lake

The giant fish was released back into the pond.

As it turned out, carp have been living in this lake for several years. The Sun reports this. It was already caught 4 years ago, but it was 9 kilograms lighter. Now the carp weighs 114 kilograms.
