A man robbed a store with a piece of burning cardboard.
The robber had recently left the colony. Apparently, he missed places not so remote.
An unusual robbery occurred in a supermarket on Chaadaev Street in Nizhny Novgorod. A man with a sheet of cardboard and a lighter approached the cash register and demanded money. When a store employee tried to kick him out, he set the cardboard on fire and began waving it around, threatening to start a fire.
At first, the cashier was not very frightened and she continued to brush off the robber. However, when the julf sheet caught fire and there was a real risk of a fire, the woman made concessions and gave the money from the cash register. Together with them, the criminal took soda, chewing gum, cigarettes and disappeared into the night. But not for long. He was detained a few hours later in hot pursuit.
During the investigation, it turned out that the 41-year-old local resident already had convictions for theft and drug trafficking. And just a few days ago he left the colony. But the Russian prison, apparently, did not correct him; he never learned to live in society, or, probably, did not want to. Now the robber faces another sentence - up to seven years in prison.
