An eyewitness to the Horse Guards parade in St James's Park in London captured a painful moment in the life of one of Britain's Royal Guards.
According to the author of the video posted on YouTube, as part of the exercise, the soldiers dismounted and took places near their horses, one of which, sensing the danger coming from behind, kicked the young guardsman.
Ensuring the safety of his own horse, the young man took a couple of steps back, but remained in line.
The guardsman was saved by the chest pad, which softened the blow, as a result of which the representative of the mummers of the British troops was not injured.
