Very soon, Disney Studios will celebrate its centenary anniversary. anniversary. This is certainly a big event for world animation and holiday. Over the years, Disney has released a large number wonderful cartoons that several generations grew up with. IN ahead of its birthday, Disney published a series of collages, in which were shown what real cities and attractions the studio's artists were inspired when creating their famous cartoons.

The main location of the cartoon is inspired by the Italian settlements of Cinque Terre on the coast of the Gulf of Genoa.

Brave (2012)



One of the locations is inspired by the “stones of Callanish”, Scotland.

The Little Mermaid (1989)



The kingdom where Prince Eric lives is inspired by a Croatian city Dubrovnik, located on the Adriatic coast.

The castle in the cartoon is inspired by the Akershus Fortress in the Norwegian capital of Oslo.
