A woman and her child miraculously survived falling bricks in China

The moment a mother and her young child were rescued from falling bricks was filmed in early September by an outdoor surveillance camera in the city of Yangzhou (Jiangsu Province, China).
According to the woman surnamed Ge, the incident happened around noon when she was about to open her car door. Suddenly she heard a loud noise from above and rushed to save her son.
It was later discovered that the bricks had fallen from the outer wall of the 18th floor.
Property management officials said the incident was due to the aging and weathering of the building's exterior wall. They will discuss compensation issues with the victims.
