Tais Medeiros, 25, went to meet her parents her boyfriend - and this evening turned out to be fatal. During a nice chat with the groom's family, the girl offered to cook dinner. Everyone together. Family was delighted with homely Thais.



While cooking, Medeiros sniffed pickled hot peppers chili, accidentally hitting the fetus with the nose. She suddenly felt unwell. At first she had a sore throat, after a while Thais lost consciousness and fell into a coma. Doctors suggested that the fault became allergic to the product. Meanwhile, the girl developed cerebral edema. In during this state, blood flow and oxygen delivery to the brain are disturbed, because of which its functions and, as a result, the functions of the whole organism.



After the accident that happened in February, six months have passed, and the girl is still in the clinic.



Over time, Thais' condition was stabilized, and in July the victim was even discharged home, but she again had severe bronchospasm. Now the girl is in the intensive care unit therapy. After cerebral edema, she came to her senses, however, she lost some skills. In particular, Thais cannot speak or walk, and the doctors not sure if she will ever return to her pre-illness condition.
