Combiner arranged a chase for children in Russia
A criminal case was opened against the man.
The incident occurred in early August in the vicinity of the village of Dzhirim in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Returning from work, a 55-year-old machine operator of a local enterprise saw six teenagers at his mowing site, who were mowing the grass. To teach them a lesson and drive them out of the field, he got into the combine, turned on the blades and drove in their direction. Only a 12-year-old teenager, who was cutting grass with a trimmer, did not hear the approach of a multi-ton machine.
According to the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the harvester deliberately accelerated the harvester until the frightened teenager fell, entangled in the grass. Then the mechanic stopped the car and allowed him to run away from the field.
Immediately after the incident, the mother of the injured boy contacted the police. However, they were in no hurry to punish the combine operator, refusing to initiate a criminal case against him. Then the woman went to the district prosecutor, who, having studied all the materials of the case, decided to initiate a criminal case under the article on the threat to kill. The combiner faces up to two years in prison, as well as payment of compensation for moral damage and payment of a psychologist for an injured teenager.
