Aeroflot passengers locked up in aircraft cabin without air conditioning
An Aeroflot flight en route from Moscow to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk made an emergency landing in Khabarovsk because of a girl who became ill.
During the flight, a four-year-old girl became ill, she suffered a heat stroke. Due to the poor health of the child, the pilots made an emergency landing in Khabarovsk. The child was immediately handed over to the ambulance. The rest of the passengers were left in the cabin, turning off the engines. Along with the engines, the air conditioners were also turned off. The crew closed all the doors of the aircraft, so people began to escape from the heat by fanning themselves with papers. The Bloody Lady Telegram channel reported that the engines were turned off to save fuel.
The passenger of the plane recorded on video how people are languishing from the heat
It is alleged that the flight attendants did not respond to passengers' complaints and did not distribute water until they began to behave more demandingly.
Aeroflot reported that the engines were turned off not because of fuel economy.
In accordance with established security procedures, the aircraft's engines were turned off while assisting the child and unloading the parents' luggage. The information that the engines were turned off to save fuel is not true.
