Miners from Serbia found an ancient Roman ship (4 photos)

Workers discovered the first traces of the ancient vessel in July. 
They immediately informed the archaeologists about the find, who began excavations. The exact age of the ship is unknown. However, the archaeologist Miomir Korač suggests that it could have been built and used around III-IV centuries AD. 
At that time, the Roman city of Viminacium stood on this site. He was located about 70 kilometers from modern Belgrade. It is assumed that the found ship cruised along the tributary, which connected the city with the Danube.
