Recently, American Kelly Clemens was about to go to bed - how suddenly received an urgent message. She immediately jumped out of bed and rushed to her car. They wrote to her that they heard a squeak from the storm sewers - in the area where she lives in the city of Houston. Kelly herself, mother two children, has been saving local animals for several years: dogs, cats, and sometimes possums and raccoons. Over the past eight years, she has saved at least 100 animals, absolutely voluntary.



When the woman arrived at the sewer, she immediately heard the same peep. She took her son's toy flashlight, which was in the car, removed the grate and independently descended to a depth of 2 meters. Then the rescuer crawled through a tunnel infested with cockroaches - and in In pitch darkness I saw two pairs of frightened eyes.

"I heard someone stepping on the water, and pointing there flashlight, I saw two pairs of eyes looking at me. Then they got scared and ran away. The poor guys were whining," says Kelly.





According to the woman, the puppies could have fallen into the sewer through a small hole - or, more likely, someone placed them there on purpose. Then the animal rescue service arrived, and along with Kelly, they tried to save the puppies until 3 am. On that day of the little ones alas, not found in the sewer. But the team saved the third puppy - black a half-breed Labrador that was running outside. Kelly did not think to give up, and the next day she went down the drain again with a team of volunteers.



After hours of searching, they finally found tiny black puppy. The kid was in a sad state - he had parasites and ringworm, and he was immediately taken to a local shelter, as was first puppy. Overexposure has already been found for one of them, and sensitively about the kids care. The third puppy was never found. Kelly has been once descended into the storm drain to find him, but to no avail. She and other volunteers leave food there in the hope that baby will survive.
