Alligator attacked tourist who was feeding him turkey at the farm
A wildlife lover named Chad found himself in the unenviable situation when, while feeding a 300-pound alligator named Elvis, who lives on a reptile farm in Colorado, he slipped and almost became prey to a waterfowl predator.
A visitor to the farm captured how an unlucky visitor to a closed reptile menagerie lost his footing and miraculously avoided becoming the prey of a giant alligator that had lost sight of the turkey but was aiming for larger prey.
“Over the weekend, Elvis had a hard time deciding if he wanted to eat turkey or Chad's legs. Who knew a 4-meter, 300-kilogram alligator could run so fast,” reads the description of the video posted on the Colorado Gator Farm Facebook page, which has existed since 1977 and now has more than 300 crocodiles.
