Desperate fight between python and monitor lizard in Australia

A wildlife lover, while kayaking along the coast of a nature reserve in Queensland, Australia, witnessed a confrontation between a lizard and a snake.

Judging by the video footage, the creeping predator did not realize the consequences of the battle, since the object for its hunt was several times larger than the hungry snake in build.

The tourist wrote in a comment to the post that the python eventually lost interest in the monitor lizard and hastily retreated to the nearest bush.
