More than 30 thousand people are evacuated from the island of Rhodes due to flattering fires (4 photos + 4 videos)

People were rescued right from the beaches. The situation over the past two days has been complicated by intense heat and gusty winds.





The Greek island of Rhodes has been destroyed by fire for 5 days. Hundreds of hectares of forest burned down, houses and cars were damaged. Fire already considered the strongest in the country.



To fight the fire, which has already crept up to two sea resorts, 173 firefighters are involved in 35 vehicles, 10 on foot detachments, 5 fire helicopters, 3 aircraft are involved.



Rescue services urgently evacuate people. Tourists have to hurriedly leave their hotels, many do not even have time to pick up your things. At the moment, people are being transferred to the city of Lindos. Number evacuees from dangerous areas on Rhodes, including two marine resorts, reached 30 thousand.



And another 15,000 were instructed to prepare for evacuation.
