The cat helped a tourist lost in the mountains to find his way home (3 photos)

Hiking can be very exciting and enjoyable, but only not if you're lost. One traveler, one day went to the mountains near the village of Gimmelwald (Switzerland) and got lost, but he still recalls this event with a smile and warm feelings.





“Gimmelwald is a tiny and stunningly beautiful village. When I got lost in the surrounding mountains, it was the end of the ski season, so the lifts did not work, and many slopes were closed,” recalls reddit user.

While the guy wandered in the mountains in search of a path leading back to his temporary home in the countryside, a cat approached him. She was very nice and friendly, and, besides, she knew very well how to get there to Gimmelwald.



When the man got up to put the map in his backpack, the cat went to the side and began to look at the guy, showing what he needed go after her. A few minutes later, she led the tourist onto the path leading straight to the village, got a portion of scratches and went about her business.



Once home, a Reddit user shared this funny story on social networks and found out that his furry the savior is quite a well-known person among Swiss tourists. The guide cat likes to walk around the neighborhood and communicate with people, and also sometimes help them if needed.

“Communicating with this charming cat is my best memory of a trip to Switzerland,” the guy admitted.
