Even in ancient times, people erected statues. With the help of sculptures, humanity expressed respect for heroes and gods, and sometimes huge monuments inspired horror in enemies. Such structures at different times became a symbol of cities, and today many cities cannot be separated from iconic sculptures. So, New York cannot be imagined without the Statue of Liberty.
