On June 18, in Irkutsk, the driver of a BMW car lost control and flew out through the hatch and was crushed by his own car. He was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
Updated: The accident happened on June 18 on the Kaiskaya mountain in Irkutsk. The BMW went off the road and overturned. The unbelted 27-year-old driver was thrown out of the hatch and crushed by his own car. The man died at the scene. His 28-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts. Instead, "stubs" were installed.
Over the past year, the driver has 20 fines for traffic violations, more than half of which are for speeding.
