Hollywood actor Michael Fassbender crashed his car for the second time in a prestigious endurance race

The artist flew into the fence of the track 15 minutes before the end of the race.

Famous Irish-German actor and speed enthusiast Michael Fassbender took part in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race for the second time and had an accident on the track for the second time in a row.

The saddest (or ironic) part of the story is that Fassbender lost control and crashed the Porsche 911 just 15 minutes before completing the last 6-hour stretch. The actor himself was not injured and, despite serious damage to the car, was able to get to the pits, but his Proton Competition team, as you understand, took last place. And now, one must think, he thanks the actor very much for the "expressive" ride.

As we said, 46-year-old Fassbender is racing for the second time. Last year, despite his accident, the team was able to continue the race and took 16th place in the race.

Fassbender has been nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Actor. He is best known for the films "X-Men", "Inglourious Basterds", "300 Spartans", "Alien: Covenant", "Prometheus", "Steve Jobs" and many other Hollywood films. In total, he has more than 70 roles to his credit. And two crashes.
Before his first race in 2022, Fassbender admitted that he does not want to become a professional racer, but is very passionate about it.
