One of the best own goals in recent years scored in Lithuania

On May 24, in the match of the 1/8 finals of the Lithuanian Football Cup, Kauno Zalgiris and Zalgiris from Vilnius met. The match was remembered first of all by a curious own goal in the second half.

In the 80th minute of the match, losing 0:2, the goalkeeper of the team from Vilnius tried to quickly put the ball into play. Knocking the ball into the field, the athlete hit his own defender. The ball bounced off the player's head and flew into the goal. As a result, the meeting ended with a score of 0:3.
