In Australia, a woman scared off robbers in a burqa with a loud cry (quieter sound)
It worked instead of an alarm.
A curious robbery took place yesterday afternoon in Brisbane, Australia. Two burqa-clad raiders broke into a jewelry store and, threatening with big guns, tried to take out as much jewelry as possible from it.
But it was not there. The woman who was in the store was so frightened of the terrorist robbers that she screamed louder than any alarm. And if the criminals had the courage to put on women's clothes, then here their courage left them. Grabbing just a few pieces of jewelry, they ran headlong, heels flashing.
It is noteworthy that the robbery took place in a shopping center. And the choice of clothes by criminals, obviously, was chosen for a reason. Under the veil, not only is the face and weapons not visible, but it seems that the guards, out of respect for Muslim traditions, do not particularly inspect such visitors, even if the metal detector went off.
One way or another, but the robbery was successful. Maybe the robbers were not able to steal as much jewelry as they planned, but they have not yet been detained. Rumor has it that they are still on the run.
