American tourist fell into the sewer and wandered there for more than 7 hours (6 photos + 1 video)

Local residents of Pattaya and rescuers saved the unlucky an American who fell and got stuck in the sewer last night, May 16th. The man said he fell down the drain around noon and wandered around few hours.





At the scene, a crowd of Pattaya residents tried to open sewer cover to help the person stuck inside who, seemed to be a foreigner. Together, rescuers and residents removed covering and successfully removed a person from a sewer approximately 60 cm and a depth of 1.5 meters.



The victim was indeed a foreigner, but they could not immediately establish his name, although they stated that he was a US citizen. By rescuers said the victim looked disheveled, disoriented and very tired.



Speaking through an interpreter, the man said that about noon accidentally fell into another sewer on Jomtien. He did not know the exact place where he fell, but told how he spent hours wandering through the dirty sewers in search of a way out, until he heard the voices of people from above. IN At that moment he called for help.
