The news anchor used an unfortunate turn of phrase when she gave the floor to the correspondent. It came out awkward.
What the woman said can be roughly translated as:
“Giving the floor to our correspondent Harry O'Donoghue from Minneapolis, who keeps his eyes on this situation”??.
