Famous places that have undergone noticeable changes over the years of their existence (16 photos)
Time leaves nothing eternal, and we can with interest compare photos of the same streets and cities taken in different centuries, noticing the details.
Using our favorite then/now format, we demonstrate you how globalization, urbanization, world wars and technical progress has affected the famous buildings that already exist as at least 50 years or more.
Some changes have a negative connotation, however some monuments, on the contrary, only got better. In certain places the transformation affected not the buildings themselves, but the space surrounding them.
