Mohammad Arif found a wounded sarus crane a year ago on in his field in Uttar Pradesh, India, took a bleeding bird home and cared for her with home remedies.
After a remarkable recovery at the hands of his kind rescuer, Mr. Arif expected the crane to return to the wild, but instead, the couple became inseparable.
Mr. Arif posted on social media several videos with his new winged friend, which show how he rides on his motorcycle, and a faithful crane with a strikingly red head flies behind him.
