In the US, narrow-minded bandits were unable to break an ATM with a car
In Washington, USA, two bumbling scammers were caught on camera attempting to steal money from an ATM at a gas station by tinkering unsuccessfully for 5 minutes.
Unidentified men captured on CCTV entered the ??Ben's Market/76 gas station on Blaine Road around 4:30 am on January 17th.
Police were alerted to the break-in after two scammers used a stolen red Jeep and a tow belt to break into a convenience store and steal an ATM.
Men can be seen dressed in hoodies and hats pulling up to the speakers before pulling out a yellow tow strap and attaching it to the back of the car.
One of the criminals attached the other end of the belt to the front doors of the gas station, after which the man inside the car pressed the gas pedal in order to open the door of the building in a few seconds, in the middle of which there was an ATM, which the attackers were interested in.
In order to hack into the device with the money inside, the two eccentrics not only dropped it a couple of times, but also resorted to the help of a car, ramming the ATM several times with the rear bumper of a stolen Jeep Cherokee.
Realizing that this robbery venture of theirs will not be successful for them, the two, apparently not very literate villains, after some time decide to leave the crime scene in a stolen car, leaving behind a considerable mess and a damaged ATM.
The car, which was stolen from Bellingham that same morning, was later found abandoned in the woods.
The Watcom County Sheriff's Office is still looking for the men and is calling on anyone with any information to come forward.
