You would pay 15,000 euros for that old rusty Maserati Merak SS 1979? One seller in Krakow, Poland advertises it like a restorer's dream.
In the Polish city of Krakow put up for sale all that is left of coupe Maserati Merak. Judging by the photo, the car is only suitable for landfill, but the seller is sure that it can still be reestablish. On this basis, and also considering the relative rarity model, he asks for a pile of rusty iron 15 thousand euros.
Maserati produced the Merak coupe from 1972 to 1983. The total was collected 1830 cars - of which 1000 were the SS version, which was focused primarily on the US market. It is this Merak and put up for sale in Poland.
As far as can be judged from the photo, the sports car once survived a serious accident, as it was almost broken in half. Coupe front separated from the car, leaving the interior open. At the same time, it is more likely of all, in this form, Merak was stored in the open for a long time, so like the interior of a coupe in a deplorable state.
The seller specifically notes that Merak retained the original rims, and power windows are included in the package.
The coupe is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6, which on the SS version developed 220 hp, but the engine is offered separately, as well as many parts running gear and exhaust. Separately, the seller will also transfer some half-rotted trim components.
