The appearance of cars from their inception to the present day has changed beyond recognition. From clumsy carriages with thin wheels on the spokes, they turned into fast and powerful units streamlined shapes. Let's look into the past for the sake of interest and compare modern car models with their ancestors. Start the engine, let's go!

One hundred and thirty-seven years have passed since that memorable day when German mechanic and inventor Karl Benz drove out of the gate of his house in an incredibly creaky, slow, gasoline-smelling carriage that by some unimaginable miracle moved by itself, without the slightest participation horses. Benz's neighbors had no idea what they were witnessing milestone event - the beginning of the automotive era.

Decades have passed since then, humanity has found a replacement for almost everything that was invented in the 19th century, but the car is still is in high demand all over the world. Then, at the turn of the century, many, many years ago, the world's leading brands of a booming automotive industry were like the well-known Ford, Mercedes-Benz or Renault, and the long gone Isotta Fraschini, Lorraine-Dietrich or Hispano-Suiza.

And the appearance of cars for almost a century and a half has changed to unrecognizability. From clumsy carriages, noisy and smelling of smoke, with thin spoked wheels and completely unsafe on the road, they turned into swift race cars of streamlined shapes, with artificial intelligence to help the driver, and safety has become a key factor when designing new models. Safety and beauty, of course.
